Me again, Dd has put playdough up her nose, again.

Dd2 seems to put evrything up her nose, we have been to hospital once with a bead up there (they had to knock her out), anyway she has now put playdough up there, i think i have got most of it out but cant reach the last bit.

Will it disolve? or will i be taking her to A&E?

God im so useless , there shouldn't have been anything lying around that could be put up her nose.

You could try gently blowing into her mouth while holding your finger over her playdough-free nostril. It might make it pop out.

DD2 used to do this, get her to blow her nose. IIRC DD ended up sneezing it out. She was 2 BTW

We had to take DS to A&E when he stuck fimo up his nose. It was late at night and they couldn't get it out manually - they wouldn't let us go home in case he choked, they put him under in the morning to see if they could find it - they couldn't!

I cant see any now so either she's sucked it up or she's picked it out.

I wish she could talk (she's non-verbal ASD), she just keeps laughing at me when i try and look.

Sounds like my DD2. As MadamAntlers said above. This was what A & E told us to do next time!

Hope you don't have to visit A & E, though I would have thought it would dissolve?

If she cant blow it out then a and e. Ds2 did this too with a pea, fortunely when we finally got to the hospital he did a big sneeze and it came flying out

OK you already done that. Can you see it with a small torch? DD2 got a bead stuck up high in the nostril, I thought it had gone but could see it with a torch.

Baublerock- thats what happened to dd last time , i dont want to go through that again.

I thought she had grown out of doing this (shes almost 3) so i have let her have playdough.

God knows what else is up there.

I have led her down and looked up there (shes still laughing), i cant see alot as she is just getting over a cold, im hoping it will disolve or get sneezed out with all the other gunk up there.

When i found her with it she had both nostrols full up with bright yellow playdough .

yuk, some just came out (of the wrong nostril)

She's still digging around up there with her finger.

eww - aren't kids loverly Do you think more is up there? I'd probably try and get it checked just incase
