Would you use adult canesten 2% clotrimazole on a 3yo?

GP prescribed canesten and hydrocortizone which is only 1% clotrimazole for dd1, and I though I had some so didn't take the prescription. Anyway was wrong, so only have adult canesten, am thinin I

I think I would, although itwould depend on where (on the body) I was using it, and how long I thought it might take to clear.

FWIW I think you can get 1% Canesten without a prescription.

yes you can buy canesten 1% over the counter (or the cheaper own makes too). I used my 2% a couple of times on dd (5) with no apparent ill effects but did use the 1% most of the time - hers was for a thrush type thing on her 'bits'
