Strange lump

Tonight DD said she was hurting under her arm, and when I had a feel, she had a small lump a couple of inches below her armpit. I know I am a worrier, but that doesn't stop me, so I am worried.

Anyone got any advice? Obviously I am hoping you will all come on and say it is a normal glandular thing, but I am tempted to rush her to the local hospital first thing. Would do it tonight but it is late, she is tired and I have had a glass of wine so can't drive.

swollen gland is the most likely

if you are v worried, call NHS Direct tonight

i don't think it is worth sitting in A & E for tonight

hi i am but don't know - am sure its nothing to worry about (not that i am in medicine or anything). Hope someone can settle your worries xx

I was hoping swollen glands, I used to suffer with them, but not that young (only 5).

I think I am extra paranoid after losing my Dad to cancer recently, but knowing thast doesn't stop me.
