could be baby acne, ds got it at bang on 3 wks. you can see it in all his pictures from back then. eeeeeeeeeewwwww. i hated looking at it even though he wasn't bothered. i put sudocrem on it after he'd had it for weeks and it cleared up in 2 days. wish i'd known!!

hmm im hoping no the start of ezcema as i think this what ds1 looked like before his started (similar age )

don't know then
could try sudocrem anyway, it cures just about all skin thingies imo

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 12/12/2008 18:18

could it be a post viral rash? mind you that's normally on the torso. If you are worried you should call the out of hours service or NHS direct.

How are things?

(tis lackadaisycal here by the way)

hi lacka, not that tbh.

ds2 has reflux like ds1 did, currently on nutramigen but i am paying to take him to private paediatrician monday as i refuse to wait months like i had to with ds1. Really struggling with day to day life, i dont get time to pee let alone eat and dont have a great deal of help available. Also ended up with my script for the good old happy pills yesterday, which i really wanted to avoid this time but looks like i failed there too.

anyway hope you and dc are ok.

im pretty sure its eczema now, i put some great natural cream i use of ds1 eczema and it looks better. Ds1 got it this age and on his face so i think its the milk..

sounds tough mad4

hopefully getting him seen by a paed sooner will help and that his skin isn't too bad. Can you try soya based formula? the dairy might be contributing to the reflux?

I'm on ADs as well, have been since I had DD eighteen months ago. It's hard sometimes, and that's without any major issues with the DCs. {{{{hugs}}}}

Milk rash? Babies get small red reaised bumps on their faec sometimes. I don't want to lead you away from investigating anything else more serious but there is a good possibility it could be this. Could you google this?

mad4mybaby · 13/12/2008 16:14

im now convinced ecezma...

lacka, they wont put him on soya as theres supposedly to much oestragen in it. Want to change it on monday when see the paed..
