Hello, I have always found that after bleeding quite alot, they scab over and the mole just heals looking much the same as it did before. My DD did it when she was 2 ( she thought it was dirt and just kept picking and picking!) She never had any problems with it. If you are concerned take DS to the docs, don't ever feel to silly or nervous about getting things checked out, put your mind at rest.

Helo there...okay...I have done this! As a child and accidentally as an adult. I freaked out (largely because everyone seemed to instantly scaremonger about increased cancer risk) and did got to my GP. He said 'monitor it and if something changes come back and I'll look at it'....and didn't seem that concerned. That was over 20 years ago and I'm fine. I'll just scab over, like any wound and then go back to normal. I would probably see a GP for peace of mind...but don't pani in the interim.

thank you, took him to see the nurse and she said there was nothing to worry about and to just keep an eye on it.
