help neede re meds please

my lo is 3 and hades medicine you name a way to get it down we have tried it the docs have even prescribed suppositries.
now my lo will only generally drink water but today i told him that water will not make his cough go and that only juice will
so he will wake at about 2ish and will be due calpol so can i put the calpol in the juice now or does it only work if i put it in the juice just before he has it.
my thinking being if it's already done i can just give it him without too much waking[another problem altogether]

anybody? please?

Can't see why you can't mix them ahead of time, or if you use a syringe draw it up and have it next to the juice to mix then give.

thanks for answering i actually do have it drawn in a syringe but i jst wondered if i could premix so he does'nt see me tip it in [co-sleeping at minute cos he got very bad cough and been sick cos of it and i am a worrier]but i wasn't sure if adding it now would 'weaken' the calpol
