Milk spots, i think?

dd4 face is covered in what i think are milk spots. looks very much like minature teenage acne. it looks pretty unsightly, but i know if it milk spots they will go on there own.

BUT, they are a lot worse than i recall the other dd's having and they do feel quite rough. they are in her hair and on her ears as well.

should they feel rough/dry? do they spread to above the hairline? dd4 has the least hair out of my girls so havent never really seen dd's scalps when they were babies. so have no idea on how far spread the spots can do.

is there a time when you havw to worry? she wont keep scratch mitts on so has caught a few spots which have bled/scabbed over. am worried about them getting infected.

i will admit i do worry, as have 3 girls with eczema, so am really unsure if its spots causing the rough appearence of her skin or if its underlying eczema.

All mine had terrible milk spots but they tended to go down towards the chest. My HV who was also a midwife was and rushed me through to the GP when I wntt to have DS2 weighed.

It's hard to know with out actually seeing them.

DD4 has loads of mikl spots too, hers are from her chin upwards, round her ears, back of neck and over her scalp. She is nearly 7 weeks old and they are getting less obvious and fading a bit. My other 3 never had anything like this before so i was really at first!

last week there are a lot more now, and they are redder and more riased.

DD4 had so many she didn't have a smooth patch of skin on her face,

She is so cute!

All mine had them much much worse than that - DS1 also had exzma on his forhead, but that didn't come untill he was 3 months. The HV was convince it was just heat rash, as breast fed babies never get eczma - so she said - Maybe DS was the firt baby ever

spoke to Hv today, atm she doesnt think its anything to worry about. said to just clean with plain water (as have been doing) and to keep an eye on them. they should hopefully clear up with no prblems.
