should it be refridgerated or not ??

It doesn't say on the bottle and so I left it out all day today, but having just googled it it seems perhaps it should be refridgerated.

Does anyone know for sure ??

Also, any tips on getting kids to take it without them being sick as soon as it is in their mouth ? It has just taken me half an hour and chocolate to get ds to have one spoonful.

I think it does.

Will it stil be ok to use it ?? It is in the fridge now.

One site I read, said it was ok as long as it hadn't been out longer than 8 hours, which it hasn't.

Should be ok if that's the advice. I seem to remember that when it is in powder form in the bottle it is fine to be left out of the fridge but once it is made into a suspension it's needs refridgeration - but that's my memory going back to my nursing days 6 years plus ago!!!!

Yes that is what it seemed to say on the site I loked on.

God knows why it doesn't tell you on the bottle.

Oh well, just ned to get the rest of the bottle down him this week

He absolutly hates it, and was pleading with me not to make him have it.

I agree a bit of patient information would have been useful

Have you tried mixing it in yoghurt - worked for DD but DS was never fooled!! Hope he gets better soon

IllegallyBrunette · 08/12/2008 20:08

I am not sure he'd be fooled by the yoghurt tbh.

I have explained to him that he does have to take it in order to get better and as much as I hate having to give it to him, he will have to finnish the bottle.

He just looked so upset about it and like he was begging me to say 'oh ok lets throw it away'.

It does look and smell foul though i have to admitt.
