Could my 10 week old be teething?

She's had a cold and has been v. unsettled for the last week.

However, it's getting better and she's still screaming (she was such a calm content baby befoere this)

Looking at her lower gums I can see and feel 4 or 5 small while bumps at regular intervals, I'm assuming these are the start of teeth, does this mean she's teething and could it explain the screaming and poor sleep at night [wishful thinking emotion]

Yes.

My sister got her first two at 8 weeks.

Can't some babies be born with theirs?

Ds showed signs of teething at 10 weeks, he had the swollen bumps on gums, hand forever in mouth, very unsettled, dribbling alot and had red and rough cheeks.
He didn't actually cut a tooth till 10 months though

Thanks,

so this could go on for a while then? - I was hoping for a quick fix!

The pain and discomfort calmed down, it was almost like he got used to it. But I kept him dressed in sleepsuits and he constantly had a bib on, the dribble would leak through his clothes so quick I was sometimes changing his whole outfit 4 times a day.
We used dentinox teething gel on the bad days as it's suitable from birth and can be applied every 20mins

i think i might have some dentinox, i'll go and search it out

Sounds good. We also bought some of those store in the fridge teething rings and got a gum massager.
