2 week old ds has alot of problems shifting his wind. He never burps, just comes out the other end. Poos ok but you can tell it is stuk in his belly as you'll put him down and even when asleep not settled, writhing around, bringing legs up.

~I use infacol, dentinox was rubbish. He is now on nutramigen milk following milk intolerance diagnoses. Its starting to get to me as it prevents him sleeping alot of the time, and he wakes me up between feeds at night with all the disturbance

What can i do? Ive used every winding postition known. Especially as ds1 had all sorts of probs. I currently have him on tommee tippee closer to nature abottles and they are anti colic...

Any ideas?

How long do you spend burping him?

I became an expert with DS2 (refluxer) who needed to be facing me and pressed really hard on his lower back on his right side (still does at nearly 2) to burp.

I often changed a nappy in the middle of a feed and he brought up more wind from being lying down and then changing position.

Both mine were/are bf so I don't know about bottles but they were both fairly windy for the 1st six weeks (and DS2 for MUCH longer).

Lay down and sit up slowly
Press midway on left hand side of back (helped with mine)
Warm milk
Dr Browns bottles were great
Don't stop a feed too often. I found ds bought up more wind if I didn't stop at all

yeah ds1 had bad reflux hence the comment! I do have to stop the feed sometimes as sometimes the milk comes out too quick. he has only been on these bottles since yesterday lunchtime, he has a very bad 'latch' issue. tried NUK and avent bottles and these tommee ones are the first he actually latches on no problem...

Try sitting him up facing you, and moving his shoulders so he rotates back and forth.

how do you move just his shoulder? do you mean almost rock him?

Sorry, yes it's left side (had a practice last night!)
