During nappy changes and in the bath, basically whenever he is naked!
Is this normal? Apologies if being PFB about this, but I thought this fascination with his bits might have come a bit later! Wanted to see if this is common.
From a born worrier!

of course it is normal! it is a sticky out bit and it feels nice if you touch and fiddle with it... there is no sexual context to what he is doing.. don;t make it a big deal.

Perfectly normal. Mine's been doing it for months. He now smacks his bath toys into his willy, think he might be a little masocist (sp?)
Seriously, don't worry about it. Perfectly normal.

Normal!!! Get used to it, they don't tend to stop.

You know, at first glance I thought you said from a born wanker. Which would have been quite funny.

IME once they find it they never leave it alone

JollyPirate · 05/12/2008 18:31

Tis the start of a lifelong obsession I'm afraid.

DS discovered his about the same age and at age 5 (nearly 6) it's still a source of fascination for him and needs regular inspection!

likessleep · 05/12/2008 18:34

Phew, I thought it was fine, just thought it was worth a post to double check.
Thanks for posting.
Guadalupe - that sign off would have been very funny!

normal my ds 2.4 love s good feel hehehehe

It is lifelong! My DS is now 2.8 and now that he doesn't have to wear nappies anymore, he fiddles with it even more. Just be thankful that your DS's bits are still hidden in a nappy most of the time
