Chix pox rash appeared yesterday, how likely to be over by a week tomorrow?

I've got a meeting in London, I've bought my tickets in advance. I've arranged for her to have an extra day of childcare. I know it can last up to 10 days after the rash appears but I just wondered how likely this is...can you get a refund on tickets bought in advance?

I would say very likely. The HPA advice is to keep them away from others for 5 days after the rash appears.

So she's lokely to be ok or likely not to be ok?

With dd the first spots appeared on a Thursday and all but three had crusted over by the following Thursday - the last 3 took until the Saturday - I'd say it will be close but you may be ok. Although the HPA advice is 5 days a lot of childcare providers say when the last blister has crusted over just to be sure.
