Think Dd has chicken pox, what do I need to know about pregnant friends and relatives?

Dd is covered in clear blisters, painful rather than itchy. I know that she will have been contagious for a while. We have a pregnant friend and my pregnant SIL is due to visit in a couple of weeks.
Is it only dangerous if the mother has not had chicken pox?
