My DD aged 3 has really scabby feet. Athletes foot cream didnt help. Doc has given her hydroquartazone. (ignore spelling!) But she wont let me put it on because it stings. Does it sting on open cuts? Should I be using it?

Mine has this - my gp says you can use it on open cuts as long as there is no infection (though how you can tell without swabs i don't know)

I find wearing cotton socks to bed over whatever cream you use helps.

Her feet started playing up in June, after having hand foot and mouth. I thought I was to blame for letting her wear crocs all summer. Now she keeps getting patches of sore skin on soles of her feet.
