Infected spot on DD's shoulder

Self explanatory really. DD is prone to excema but don't know if related or not but has a spot that is a bit infected on shoulder. Has a yellow head to it and is sore. If it were on me I would squeeze it and get all the pus out but sure DD won't tolerate this!

Is there something I can put on it to draw the pus out? Or will I have to go to docs? Thought about going to pharmacist but they tend to not want to assist if it's a child and just send to docs.

Any suggestions?

Magnesium sulphate paste which you can buy at the pharmacy. It will 'draw out' the pus

I would try a hot poultice type thing. Simply place a flannel soaked in warm water ~ as hot as she will comfortably tolerate ~ over the spot, keep replacing with fresh hot one. Will help draw it and it if is ready to go it will.
Good luck !
