Calprofen reaction?

Hi, 5mo is teething at the moment so we have started to give her Calprofen to bring her temperature down.

We always follow the instructions and never give more then required. Tonight we gave her some at 7.30pm as she woke in pain. Since then she cried when put down on her back, had a very runny nappy and has arched her back in pain. She finally fell asleep just now sat up in dps arms.

Could she be allergic? Dp gets a bad stomach when he has Ibuprofen aswell so I guess she gets the same.

Anyone else had this? Im hoping she will be ok once its out of her system??

i don't know exactly but I would just give her paracetemol for now then when she is otherwise well try giving her a small dose of calprofen - then at least you'll be able to rule out any other causes for the tummy ache - probably best speaking to HV or GP though - or a pharmacist will probably be able to advise best as they know all about drugs
