dd has been sick once in the night for the last 3 nights.Off her food but otherwise OK.She has a nasty cough and I think being laid downis making her cough until sick rather than it being a gastro thing.Anyone elses dc had this? Thanks.

Yes - seems to be going the rounds. DS's tummy has settled down but he's still hot and coughy.

DD had a chesty cough for 6 weeks - took her to hospital today and told it was a virl thing and will get better by itself. Thats after my GP gave her 3 courses of anitbiotics one of which made her sick

wingandprayer · 27/11/2008 09:23

Yep, both mine too. DS on second batch on antib's for chest infection, DD got evil cough and as of yesterday slightly upset tummy. I ahve avoided it so far - expect it saving itself to hit me over Christmas!

Here too. DS, DH ad I all lurgied up. How long does this bloody cough last?!!!

Wispabarsareback · 27/11/2008 09:37

Gah, glad it's not just happening in our house. DD2 (15 months) has had a cough for two weeks now - took her to the GP to check it wasn't a chest infection, and he thinks it's just a virus. She's fine during the day, but coughs in the night - and often vomits as a result. I usually sprint to pick her up when I hear her coughing, to avoid having to muck out the cot - which I was doing again at midnight last night. It's no fun at all.
