Quick question, DD1 has been off school 2 days with V&D. She has been okay today ( at home) but just after going to bed was sick. She did get worked up when I mentioned going to school tomorrow. Should she go or stay at home?

Stay at home. We are told to keep them off for at least 48 hours after the last bout of D or V.

You will have to keep her off for another 24 hours after the last episode of sickness. Some schools require 48 hours.

keep her home, sorry

At home. Exactly same scenario here, only diahrrxxxxxmmfhjioshf (SP) instead of vomiting.

DD fine and perky, then bout of D at lunch yesterday, so off today. All right as rain and then D at lunchtime and bedtime.

I actually rang the school earlier and was so funny. I said, without identifying myself, "hypothetically speaking, if someone had D at lunchtime should they...." before the office manager cut me off and said "Is that you Mrs XXX, calling about DD. We won't be seeing her tomorrow thank you very much".

thanks. I feel like a fraud sometimes but I'm happy to keep her at home. I've checked the website and it says 24 hours. Hopefully we can have a nice day together.
