Both Dd3 and Dd4 have got tonsillitis :(

Dd4 has been unwell seen last thurdays.Temp reaching 40.6 at one point,i was very worried.
Then on sat Dd3 came down stairs crying with a headache and temp 39.
I took them both to doc's today and they both have tonsillitis.I been adviced to keep them away from school for a week.Which atm looks very much the case,they are both so ill.
Hmmmm i wonder which one comes down with it next.I'll be pulling my hair out by the end of the week.

Hope they get better soon. I had tonsilitis 18 times when I was little and I know how awful you feel ... although I loved the medicine I got! Can you catch tonsilitis? Or is it just you catch a virus and it could turn into tonsilitis? I don't know how it works. None of mine have ever had it .... touch wood.

I know how you feel as dh went away last Wednesday and since then all 4 dcs have been ill. We've had throw ups, colds, stomach aches, coughs, high temperatures along with delirium, bit of croup last night and I'm knackered and am coming down with a cold. Hopefully, tomorrow, the 3 that go to school will all go and I'll just be left with the littlie who is very poorly at the moment.

How old are they?

You can catch tonsillitis,its airborn.Dd2 had her tonsils removed when she was 7yrs,so i'm hoping we are not heading down that path again.Dd3 is 8yrs and dd4 is 7yrs.
They are both fast asleep now,for abit.

Ds2 has been up part of the night with ear ache.Its all running now so off to docs again later.
Dd3 and dd4 seem abit better today.
