constipation in 11yr old

hi just wondering if any other older children who have been on movical are really sore inside his bottom.He is in agony i have a nurse coming to see him this afternoon but am really worried he has been off school for nearly three weeks,as had suppositories and an enema too i am giving him nurofen and parasetamol for the pain.everytime he goes to loo he cries and when he passes wind it really hurts him would really appreciate advice as cant concentrate on anything.He is always ill he suffers with migraines and sinisitus alot too.

awww your poor ds....what is the reason for his constipation and migraines, etc....

My 6 year old is on Movicol and constipated and it is hard evne at this age...and sometimes he does experience pain....however, his pain wold be in the tummy....bottom pain, I would assume is either little "cuts" or sores inside, maybe from straining or a very large poo (sorry tmi) not able to come out (i.e. is he trying to hold it back)...

YOu know more about it then me....so, probably completely up the garden path...but, well...just trying to think of what it oculd be!

the nurse came out yesterday she said he will be sore for a week or so and he had to try and go to school,so he has gone in hooray for 2 hrs.he has had migraines for about 5yrs now they normally come with a sinus infection but were much worse last year due to bullying,nurse wouyld not check his tummy (said she wasnt allowed too)so will have to make an appointment with gp.but he is now on 4 sachets he was on 12.you are probably right it could be a small cut inside,thanks for replying .

Hopefully he will get sorted out?
