ds2 aged almost 3 has had cold which has set off his usually mild asthma.hes on flucticasone and subultamol(which hes having 2 puffs every 4 hours).im also giving him cough medicine which has given him poops(nice).and hes being sick from coughing and a nose bleed.i just gave him his blue inhaler again and hes just constantly coughing but like he cant quite catch it.what else can i do?and how long can he have inhaler every 4 hours and medicine every 4 hours?

You can increase the puffs if you need to but it is recommended you seek medical atention if he needs he inhaler hourly. He may just need some steriods. I would take him to the GP with these symptoms, sooner rather than later. Coughing can be a sign of respiratory problem, the same as wheezing. Even though things have calmed down, I would still take him and get him the once over by the GP. They will be able to advise you on how often you can give him the inhaler.
