Where can I find a First Aid course?

Hi. I'd like to get on a first aid course, ideally one geared towards treating babies and children, but I'm having trouble finding one. Does anyone have any suggestions? Some of the mums I know were offered this as part of there postnatal care from there health centre, but we had no such luck. I've tried the St John's Ambulance website but they seem to suggest that the nearest course to me is 85 miles away, which I find difficult to believe being in London. Haven't had much luck with Google either.

Any advice?

Can you ask your health visitor?

You could ask your local Brownie pack who they use for their training.

Depends where you are - in Reading, Berks I have used the company ABC medical who do fantastic child first aid courses!

Local college?
Call a local School/Nursery/Playgroup and find out where they send their staff?
