Strange spots and marks on 13 month old dd

DD had a couple of spots on her this morning when she got up which I thought nothing of. She also has red marks over her hand and fingers - as if she had been lying on them in bed type thing - so I thought nothing of that either but the marks haven't gone away and she now has more spots. The spots are perfect little circles, red but a paler circle insde - looks almost like a bite but flat not raised.

She has an appt at 2pm but just wondered if anyone has any ideas?

Chicken pox? I know it's doing the rounds in our area at the moment.

I did think about that but the spots aren't blistered, just completely flat.

chicken pox?
I discovered a few spots yesterday on dd1 that were blistered and have now crusted over but didn't see them at the start of cp.

Where are the other spots? If they are contained to the hands/arms, feet/leg area then check her mouth as well as they may blister and turn out to be hand, foot and mouth.

the red marks are only on her hands - possibly her ankles or I've held them too tight while she wriggled as I was changing her!!

The spots are on her arms and face.
