What can I use on it until our doctors appointment where we will hopefully get something to help it?

A friend who is a Dr had a look a couple of nights ago but I forgot to ask is there anything I can use on it for the moment [d'oh]

TIA

My daughter has eczema (now 8months old) and weve been using epaderm cream.
We get it prescribed now but i think you can just buy it aswell, otherwise i have also found johnsons baby soothing naturals intense moisture cream (in a yellowish and green packaging) very good. We also bath her in oilatum, where you just put a little bit in the water and keep nails very short. Hers is only mild and this keeps it at bay. hope that helps

Any non perfumed cream (emollient).

My dd uses aveeno cream or e45 cream or cetraben (emollient cream). The easiest cream of above to work with is the aveeno cream which we now get on prescription but you can buy in a chemist. Put it on twice to three times a day.

My dd eczema was really bad but after a few weeks of putting emollient on her 2 to 3 times a day it is really mild.

Hope you get something that helps.
