I can't remember how it affected DS1, but DS2 has been asleep all day bar an hour at lunchtime and half an hour earlier. He just managed to sleep through being put in the car, dragged round tesco, being prodded by DS2 and is still asleep, will have to wake him shortly for feeding. I haven't given him any calpol yet either as i don't think he's really had a temperature, but perhaps I should.

Should I worry?

i think it's quite normal, iirc

thanks, hewlettsdaughter. He does sleep quite a ;ot generally but today's been n on stop! Might give him some calpol anyway as he's been making sad noises in his sleep...

Sorry but I would say this is NOT normal. I would get him to the GP. Who will probably say nothing to do with the vaccine.

But your DR will say its normal.

I don't know how they say its normal.

Do some research before you get your child its next round of jabs.

second what beeper said - if he does not normally sleep a lot get him checked out. i remember my dd2 being restless for s bit but certainly not sleeping lots when she had her jabs.

hi - thanks for your posts. He woke up shortly after I posted and stayed awake all night instead so I'm not too worried now. I really hate jabtime and wish i didn't overthink everything.

Glad he seems ok now - I was a bit worried as I was catching up with the posts on here that I had said I thought it was normal but the others were saying to get him checked out... I do remember one or both of my kids sleeping more after jabs - but I guess if anyone is worried about abnormal behaviour (anyone reading this in the future for instance) then the advice to consult a doctor is prob best.

thanks hewlett - he's right as rain now! I vaguely remember DS1 being similar, in retrospect. Thanks for your concern though!
