ds 4 has started dribbling all the time and putting everything in his mouth when i have mentioned it to people they have suggested it could be big back teeth coming (he has 20 teeth)

could he be teething or is it something else

he has also started to wet himself everyday from about the same time the dribbling started. if he is teething i have all 3 dc teething at the same time

Hi, have you noticed any blisters in his mouth? As my eldest when he was about 15 mnoths old had what looked like nappy rash and was dribbling more than usual, i applied usual cream to his bum and sent him off to nursery(no other symptoms visible at the time!). I thought he was teething too!
DH got a frantic phonecall to pick him up cos DS had hand, foot and mouth virus(very contagious)! The dribble could fill a bib to wringing out point! Theres usually a rash on hands and feet too, sometimes legs and/or bottom.
No treatment other than paracetemol or ibuprofen for discomfort/fever, and it goes away by itself after a week or so.

See link for description.

Hope this may have been some help, cos i hope the poor lad isn't getting his adult teeth already.
