my ds is having a rt test for a week were he has to were a lill box which montors his heart

any one els had to have one of theas and how long did it tk to get the results bk . he has been ill by hving a iregula heart beat . and has been feeling dizzy and sick with it but till they do the test for the week . they dont know what is going on . but pees me off rilly as a year a go he was admited to hos as his heart rate was so ouick it mad him so ill . to the point were he looked like he was having a heartattack . i was so scared for him bless . the ecg came bk that time as abnormaol . so he had to have a 24 hour ecg done which showed there was a slight defect with the rythem . and all they said was we will see how he gose . so yes we was bk this year . and he is having a weeks teast now but they said the will send the results to gp . can i tk him any were els as im not happy with what they are doing he is 8

kee27 - I expect this will be a 7 day ambulatory holter monitor test, like the 24 hour ecg but over the week instead. Is it a children's cardiologist that is organising the test for you? Or a paed?

You can ask your GP to refer you for a second opinion if you're unhappy.
