5 Month Old - Being Sick & Very lathargic???????

My 5 month old daughter was sick yesterday afternoon (3 yo daughter has been sick since Sunday and I have stomach ache/was sick last night). She then proceeded to be sick every hour or so, all through the night as well. She had a bottle of milk this morning, which stayed down for several hours, but subsequent bottles have come straight back up. LAst night she was extremely lathargic. Usually she wiggles her arms or legs constantly and gurgles & goos, but she just laid there with her eyes half shut. This morning she was a bit more back to normal but now if very quite/still again.

How long before we take her to the doctors/hospital??

I would take her to the doctors asap, if not A&E. Such young babies can become dehydrated very quickly.

I agree with Belgo, see if you can get an emergency appointment with GP and failing that take her to A&E - just to be on the safe side.

Thanks for that. I have just left a message at the doctors for him to ring me back. So hopefully he will advise on the best action to take. Will keep you posted on what he says.
Thanks again.

I have got an appointment to take my DD to the doctors tonight.
Am much relieved. Just hope she's ok and it's just a tummy bug that's going round.

Sorry, being away from the 'puter for a few days.
Babes is fine now, still not quite back up to her normal self, but much much better.
Doc said it was just a tummy bug and to keep her hydrated.
On thursday/friday my MIL got sick, then my SIL, my husband spent yesterday in bed, FIL is in bed today and just had a text from my neighbour to say she is being sick too!!
It's nice to share, you know!!!
