pritt stick in DDs hair. What now??

My 3.5yr old Dd has managed to collect a large lump of pritt stick in her hair.
Is there anyway to remove it without resorting to scissors?

Might be water soluable. Have you tried washing it out - in shower with lots and lots of water.

pritt stick washes out very easily.

Pritt stick's website says to soak clothing in cold water for 10 minutes before washing. So I'd try soaking the lock in cold water before warm. I expect it will come out though.
