Can you get chicken pox more than once?

My 23month old had chicken pox in June, it was quite a mild case compared to his friends

Yesterday some spots appeared on his legs just below nappy area, today he has two on his arm and little pimple on his chin.

They are red and raised.

He is dribbling and has cough and cold symptoms. Any ideas? could it be chicken pox again? or teething

thanks

Hate to say this, but I have had it three times.
Could be something else though? [hopeful emoticon]

I'd think it unusual for it to start on the legs and arms. Usually starts on face or body and spreads out iirc. I suppose it could be CP, but hope it's something trivial and short-lived!

Have been looking and sounds more of a virus, will let it run.

Thanks ladies [smile0
