Hi can anyone recommend a good plug in vapouriser I have a 2.5 yr old that finds it hard to breath at night and also has a tickly cough. I have looked in Boots but there are so many to choose from there are Sudafed, Olbas,Tixyliks, and Karvol they also sell battey operated ones.Any suggestions please

i uset he plug in sudafed one for ds, that was the only one available when i got it and it makes such a difference when he's bunged up.

I've used the karvol one and it works great....

I think they are all much the same and I went for this one because my other choice the refill had to be changed every night - the karvol one is every 3 nights...

A good old wrights vapouriser gets my vote...think sadly they've stopped making them so it would be either ebay or the back of great aunty mabels cupboard!
Other than that few drops of olbas oil on tissue under pillow or karvol on pillow case is good.
Hope your little one is feeling better soon.

Hi barnet1. Have only just seen this. Aroma stones are really good. You put an essential oil in them sych as eucylaptus, and plug it in.
I tried the Sudafed plug in for dd but found the smell was too strong and seemed to make her cough more.
Sorry I can't do links but if you do a search quite a few sites sell them. They are approx £20. E bay definitely have them. Hope this helps.
