Hi. My 2.5 year old daughter is drinking lots and lots - yesterday she must have had about 3-4 litrew of squash. She can sit and drink a whole drinks container straight down. I don't think this is normal - I read that drinking a lot can be a sign of diabetes - have I lost it or shoud I ask the doctor ( wioll be a 3 day wait) - and they will then think I am mad. What could this be? Thanaks

I'd stop the squash and just give her water, and if she is still drinking loads and loads then yes get her checked. But squash is addictive to toddlers...

Hi. I agree with ilove, best to give just water. Nothing quenches thirst a well as water does . I think that you're being a good parent to be concerned - not mad! I'd get her checked by a doctor though just to be able rule out the possibility of diabetes.
