Any docs or nurses out there? Toddler with big white ulcer at corner of mouth...?

Any ideas?

My 17 month old dd has a fairly big white 'ulcer' like thing at one corner of her mouth. It's a white head with read around it and looks a little sore, although she doesn't seem irritated by it. It's been there since yesterday and is about 2mm in diameter.

Is this a cold sore? My husband and I never get these....could it be an infection? I'm a working mum - is it worth taking her to the doc?

Recently I went back to work and my dd went to a lovely childminder. She eats fairly well there but I also wondered if it could be a nutritional thing - that she's lacking a certain vitamin or something???

She also has constipation at the moment, which is out of character as she eats tons of fresh fruit and veg, although maybe they're related?

Help - any clues? I'm a little worried about her!!!!!!
