chickenpox.......ds3 diagnosed but has very few spots

i have never seen this so mild... my other children were covered from head to toe...anyone else experienced this?

Some children don't have many spots. My sister only had one - twas still chicken pox though, and she was still poorly.

He may get some more later, new crops of spots can keep coming for days.

some get 3 or 4 and some are covered from head to toe.

I think the minimum I've heard of was 2 - but that was in an adult who couldn't believe it was chickenpox until they saw dr.

dd1 got dx with pox. the next day all the spots had vanished
we got her vaccinated as ds1 was 3 months old with double pneumonia and i thought that was preferable to maternal breakdown.

he was a little under the weather the day before the spots broke out but he is running about and playing ..he is 3 yrs old btw
