Hi mama2leah - if I were you I'd take her to your GP and ask for their advice. They will hopefully be able to prescribe you some moisturising ointments that might help.

You could also try to avoid using any soaps in the bath for her as I think that could also dry her skin a bit.

Hiya, have had 7 years of this so hopefully might have some info that can help. Early stages, can just try olive oil in the dry bits after bath time and in the morning - it may just be baby dry skin/eczema and will go soon. Otherwise see if you can get some diprobase from your doctor to put on the dry bits. Don't use softener in your wash, and persil non bio is the washing powder recommended for sufferers, but they have recently added a perfume to it (helpful!) so the powder is no good - only the liquid or capsules, as recently some long term users have come up in rashes. No soap or extra stuff in the bath.

If it gets significantly worse, drop a line back here and I can tell you what we've done. With serious eczema I found that GPs were well out of their knowledge zone and we had some pretty weak advice historically. My son has just found the right medicine and has some relief from severe ezcema this year so things are looking up. Hope that's of some help.
