OMG they stink! Well, my DS's do anyway. Mushy, multicoloured. Sore bum- the works!

Grim, grim, grim

Oh....and, my God, the nappy rash!

'Evil' is the word that springs to mind

Slimy, vinegary, practically radioactive.

Thanks so much for responding.
My DS has just turned 11 months, with no teeth as of yet.
For the last two weeks (just about), he has been pooing 6+ times a day, really runny, mucousy green / orange and explosive poos (and very stinky!). Bad nappy rash - to the point where he was screaming and clinging on to me one evening when we undressed him to put him in his bath (which he normally loves his bath)
Every time he eats/drinks anything, he poos.
In all other ways, totally fine, no temp, no sickness and as normal (although waking earlier in morning and during naps).
Doctor is testing for tummy bugs, which I am certain it isn't, as I think he would have been off in himself.
Can it go on this long (am sure you are all chuckling at me now!)? Is the mucousy thing teething related, do you reckon? At some points, it is almost like there is no poo there, just mucous.
Feels like all I have done is change nappies, apply metanium and wash poo-ey clothes.
Thanks.

Sounds exactly like what we get here.

Can last up to 2-3 weeks for each tooth in my experience.

Phew. His gums feel exactly the same, no hard bits or any pinkness or anything (I keep checking every morning). At 11 months, I am a little excited about the prospect of a pearly white! (And hopefully back to 1 - 2 poos a day ... bliss!)
Thank you so much for responding.

fgor us they are:
explosive
yellowy
runnier than normal
STINK (kind of like vomit)

accompanied by sore butt

I feel bad I went to Doctor now .
But as he is allergic to eggs and gets bad eczema, I thought it may all be food related.
Thanks so much, I do feel so reassured now.

My little girl is now 14 months and had no teeth for 13 months. Now we have 4 and for over 4 weeks I have had 'teething nappies'

Without getting to graphic, I can normally tell exactly which meal it was and identify its ingredients. She drinks plenty of fluids and is not dehydrated. She seems fine in herself and not unhappy most of the time but how long does this go on for?

I use 'reusable' nappies :P I thought it might go on for a week or two but now I am in to my second month! Is that normal?

The washing machine now needs a holiday! As does mum!
