fasting needs before op

hi my son goes in for op tomorrow and they have sent me his fasting needs but hes just turned 1 and was prem hes still in 3-6 month clothes. the fasting needs are different for over 1s than under 1s. so should i consider him under 1??

how different are they and how prem was he?

Hi, yea i would phone only i dont have any credit on my phone and the hospital have been messing me about, everytime i phone they just keep transfering me until the phone eventually goes dead so was hoping somebody on here might have some experience. im going to consider him under 1 as i cant really go wrong with that. it means no breakfast. he wont be happy. he was 2 months prem. Thanks.

I would personally go with the under 1yo then.
