Single MMR jabs- for older children?

I wonder if anyone can help me. I have 3 DSC's aged 12, 9, and 7 who have had no kind of MMR jab at all. I've always been very concerned about this and have finally managed to convince DP that they need to have some kind of vaccination.
So he's agreed, in principal to allowing them to have single jabs(although quite rightly he needs to talk to his ex about it.)
What I'm wondering is if anyone knows whether would vaccinate children that age and whether the single jab would actually be effective.

I can see this is a super old thread - the question is, did you go ahead?

Just in the same predicament myself. Wondering what you did?

I don’t think the single jabs are available any more, are they?
