Oh shit..... does this count as a head injury?

DS2 (15 months) fell and hit his eye against the corner of the wooden coffee table. A little pea sized lump came up immediately and a lot of redness, poor thing.

I've used arnica cream. Do you think he'll come up with a black eye in the morning?

He was very brave though! Only cried for 30 secs.

erm check out the foto of ds in my profile from when he had an incident withthe coffee table, we took him to A&E and they sent us home again saying he'll have lots of bruising

Whizzz · 19/08/2008 19:05

I'd keep a cold compress on it too & see how he is

WumphreyCushion · 19/08/2008 19:16

Poor little chap.
Agree with Whizzz re the cold compress.
Maybe some medicine too, to help with the headache.
Don't let him go to sleep for a while.

Oh Clayre!!! . Poor little man, is he recovered yet?

DS2's not gone to sleep yet, I can hear him playing in his cot. Will give him some Calpol, in case he has a headache.

he did that about 2 years ago and there has been no lasting effects, hope your ds has a good nights sleep.

Phew, he's OK! No blackeye, just a tiny bruise. Thank goodness.
