dont worry. it doesnt prevent breastfeeding later in life. it could even sort itself out if/when she gets pregnant

if she herself is concerned when she is older it can be 'fixed' pretty easily i think

sorry to keep on .... was just hoping someone might be able to reassure me

i think it is pretty common yes

i think it hereditary - ask your mum if you were the same when you were little

I had an inverted nipple as a child...I can remember poking a knitting neede in it when I was about 4!!

Can't remember when it happened but it righted itself by teenagehood.

My dd has both nipples inverted - Age 3

It was one of the first things I noticed, when I bathed her for the first time

ooh dropdead fred!!!that went right through me...if you pardon the pun!
nailpolish...she isn't concerned herself and she's already a very self-conscious child which is why i would feel terrible if i had to drag her to the doctors about it.
mum can't remember what my nipples were like!!my dd1 doesn't have this though.

it's only one of them though....which is why i'm a little concerned.
