Anyone have any thoughts on this on my 12month old?
Doctor said it probably viral.

Baby fine in himself. No temp no cold symptoms. Isn't itching him. Is in 2 places yesterday started on hip today it's also on his back.

Hasn't disappeared with piriton.

It's raised and feels rough. 4th baby for me ans first time I've seen this. Not worried just wondering if anyone else has seen something similar?

This is exactly what my shingles looked like. Could it be chicken pox?

That's interesting. He's never had chicken pox..don't think we've been around anyone that currently has it either. Doesn't look like the chicken pox spots ans hasn't developed like I'd expect them to for pox. Wonder if it could be shingles even though he's not had pox. Off too google it. Thanks 😊

Has LO had their MMRV vaccine? Because that can pop up like this.

Nope not had it. Strange one. My mum has said maybe scarlet fever but seems unlikely as no other symptoms

Scarlett fever was my thought from your description before I even opened the post.

however k agree my shingles (on my back) looked a bit like this. Felt rough and raised and like a bunch of blackheads and a line of spots!

Definitely looks like scarlet fever rash. My 2 never had the weird tongue

It can’t be shingles if you’ve not had chicken pox. You can’t catch shingles. You only develop it from the chicken pox virus being dormant in your body. Plus, it doesn’t look like either.

Not eczema?
