Bits in child’s wee

My son is 3.
i keep noticing when he’s been for a wee there are what looks like bits on top. On closer inspection sometimes they look like very tiny bubbles.

i took him to the gp and she did a urine test, it was only 48 hours after a sickness bug and it came back with protein and blood. We retested one week later and the blood had over halved and the protein was gone. Another one week later it was down to 7rbc and again no protein. She said she wasn’t concerned and the blood was now only 2 over normal. We are having a follow up.

The whole thing is driving me crazy, I can’t stop worrying. Does anyone else notice this when their child goes to the wee? Can it be normal to see this on nearly every wee? The visible bits are not related to the illness as they were there before.

I know no body really wants to look at urine but a pic to explain what it looks like.

Probably worth a retest for protein. If normal, I’d go with one of those things.

Not sure what you are seeing. Looks like bubbles to me. Why not try to catch some in a container and wait for a bit to see if they disappear.

@nocoolnamesleft thanks! What do you mean if normal I’d go with one of those things?

As in bodies are weird, and sometimes do random stuff for no real reason.

@Luckydog7 thanks for replying. Yes it is like tiny bubbles. I’ve just no idea if this is normal. It doesn’t happen to me so I’m concerned it’s abnormal
