Experiences of child teeth grinding

Has anyone had experience of a child who grinds their teeth very loudly in their sleep? Did you seek advice from dentist or GP and was there any effect on their adult teeth? My child still has milk teeth only but I was alarmed when I heard how loudly he grinds his teeth overnight! Many thanks 😊

Both my girls became aware after they left home. Well I remember I did know about it for the eldest but never worried. They both pay for mouth guards now. Well the younger one doesn't have to pay as she's in the services but they both use guards at night time. Ask when you're next at the dentist

My daughter ended up with some caps on her top and bottom back milk teeth due to grinding them. By the time her adult teeth had come in she’d grown out of it. Dentist was v helpful
