Nasal flu vaccine side effects

Anyone else’s child had really bad side effects from the nasal flu vaccine this year? My 2.5 year has been up screaming and crying for the last 2 hours with a sore throat and bad head. He had the vaccine at 3pm!

have you given some calpol at all?
if it’s no better in a couple of hours I’d maybe call 111 for some advice?

Thanks for responding! I gave him some calpol early on in the night and then he completely snapped out of it at 3am and he’s completely fine now. Definitely the flu vaccine but I’ve never seen that sort of response to it before!
