9 year old teeth problems

My 9 year old boy is quite late with his teeth. He has only lost 4. Some of which were removed by the dentist as he grinds his teeth in his sleep and he had ground them down and were causing him pain. Anyway new problem... His left bottom tooth sits naturally over his left top tooth. Like he cannot get his top tooth over his bottom at all.. his jaw isn't pushed forward or anything you wouldn't know unless you saw his teeth.. will this be sorted with braces. Has anyone has experience with this before? Thanks alot 🙂

Mine had a similar problem his baby teeth were stuck and his adult teeth grew behind, so made his teeth wonky he had braces.
