Hi everyone

Im just wondering if anyone has ever had anything like this because im a bit worried

My 6 year old woke up really early this morning crying saying his skin was burning. He wasnt saying one place hurt either, he just kept saying all his skin felt like it was burning

I checked him all over expecting to find a rash or bites or something but theres honestly nothing there. No marks, no redness, nothing that I can actually see

I put him in a bath because I didnt really know what else to do and while he was in there he kept saying it felt loads better. As soon as he got out though he started crying again saying it was burning again

He doesnt seem to have a temperature and apart from this hes been absolutely fine. Yesterday he was running round playing as normal and there was nothing to make me think he was coming down with anything

Im trying not to over react because I know children can describe things in odd ways sometimes but he was genuinely upset and thats whats worrying me

Has anyone elses DC ever had anything like this? Im wondering if I should just keep an eye on him or if this is something that needs checking today

Its really upset him and I feel awful because I dont know what it is

My daughter had this 1 day before Hand Foot and Mouth rash was visible.

My daughter said this recently - not all over, just her arm. Not sure what it was, but it seems to have gone

He could be brewing shingles. Wait and see if a blistering rash develops over the next few days.
