Hello MN
My child has eczema - now a teenager & very body conscious. Wearing long sleeves & trousers in this heat. Seems to have worsened over the last two years (she’s 14)
Desperately Looking for any new recommendations or advice/support.
-Never had any dairy as allergic
-Uses prescription creams/ointments
-Trying to use only 100% cotton bedding
-Non bio wash powder
-Has see. a dermatologist who prescribed additional creams. It’s so up & down with the heat/sugar/diet/hormones
Thinking of trying red light treatment.
Any advice & recommendations welcome 🧡

Oat baths?

I would suggest going dairy free for 8 weeks to see if that helps. It’s virtually cleared up my daughter’s eczema. We’ve also used tacrolimis protopic as an alternative to steroids, which works very well but does surpress the bodies immune system. It must be so hard to have this as a teenager, I do feel for her.
