Chicken pox or something else??

My daughter has had these spots on her legs since last week. She has about 5 in total.

Took her to the pharmacy and they think chickenpox however she's not itching them, she's totally fine in herself and they're not in the typical location for chicken pox?

She's had the first dose of the chickenpox vaccine (due the next dose in a few weeks).

I've kept her off nursery but now I'm overthinking it...Is this mild chickenpox or something else???

You can get a few spots after getting the vaccine sometimes. The vaccine is a weakened version of the virus so children especially can get a few spots, often around the area the vaccine was given but can be elsewhere on the body too.

Might be molloscum especially if she’s been sharing paddling pools/water activities with other kids in the hot weather

Looks like possible Hand foot and mouth to me. My daughter has had it twice , first time it was terrible and she was covered in spots but second time it was only a few and they do look like this. HFM typically doesn’t affect the torso, but chickenpox usually starts on the torso so that’s a way to identify between the two. Just keep an eye out to see if anymore spots appear, especially on her hands and feet and inside her mouth.

I'd say hand foot and mouth as well. The two look very similar but chicken pox is usually on the torso at first. Plus after 4 days, I'd expect her to be covered in pox if it was that.

Is chicken pox going round the nursery?

Chicken pox spots follow a pattern, area of redness, clear blister forms, blister burst and crusting occurs

That's not what is pictured or described - in terms of possible vaccine side effects, I think they still follow the pattern

Thanks everyone. I did consider HF&M but she doesn't have any other symptoms and nothing on her hands? Would that still be the case?
