My son aged 2 and 4 months old was at the park today when I noticed that he was limping- it was quite obvious and almost like his leg looked to be not bending. Anyway it didn't stop him running around and jumping off things and he hasn't been irritable or saying anything hurts.

when we got home I noticed he was still limping a bit when he runs and walks - almost looked as if the leg gave way onece, but again he's been charging around the place and jumping off the sofa. No fever now but he did have a temp for 24 hours on Tuesday and a bad nappy then it went away again.

i suffer from health anxiety so my mind is just rushing to something like bone cancer or Leukaemia 😭

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

This happened to my son at 3, was some weird post viral thing called Transient Sinovitis. Take him to the GP to be sure but don't freak out too much. It does happen and goes away.

Thanks @IcedCoffee26i have read about that but I'm not sure whether the lump is coming from his hip as it seems more his leg, but then they're that small it's hard to tell isn't it!

It happened to my son when he was a similar age. We were just walking round Woolworths (it was a long time ago! He’s 22 now😂) and he suddenly started limping. I took him to get checked and it was deemed nothing to worry about, they said it was most likely a post viral thing.
I’ll bet it’s nothing but obviously if he’s still limping tomorrow, go get a check up.

It also happened to one of my sons… i had to use his baby brother pushchair for a day because he couldnt walk…. He is 16 now and we never ever had that problem again.

He's more than happy to walk and run around still but there's definitely a noticeable limp that was in and off!
