7 month old eye rolling

Hello

Firstly I will go to the gp if this continues but just wanted to see if anyone had any similar experiences

My baby is 7 months old, I’ve noticed a few times he has rolled his eyes into the back of his head. He doesn’t lose consciousness, twitch, shake or have any other symptoms. They roll back for literally a second and he carries on as normal. His development is all normal.

I have noticed it a few times but not worried much so can’t say when/where but it happened last night just before bed, and then he did it this morning 2.5 hours after waking up just before I put him down for his next nap. Thinking it might be related to tiredness but still really worried.

Thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Could be an absence seizure. Film it if you can and definitely follow up with GP

Sorry mine was just a quick reply and you haven’t heard from anyone else. I don’t want to add to the worry. My daughter was older (8 yrs) but it sounds very similar. She was on medication for a few years and then grew out of them completely so no impact as a young adult. Never any bigger seizures and so well controlled on medication it had very little impact on her life.
Please get it checked out but try not to worry xx
